Spring 2024 Graduation Check!

Are you on track to graduate? To have your degree or certificate conferred on your official transcript, students must first complete the online Application for Diploma/Graduation.

Students nearing the completion of their BS, AA, AS, or Certificate in the Spring should meet with an advisor in Building A, prior to completing and submitting the online application, to review remaining requirements needed to earn their degree/certificate.

Students who plan to participate in the 2024 Commencement Ceremony must submit a second, Commencement Ceremony Application. Graduating students are encouraged to celebrate this great accomplishment by participating in the 2024 Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the Civic Center in Dothan, Alabama. All students who have earned or will earn their degree from December 2023 through August of 2024 may participate in the ceremony. Students submitting applications after February 28, 2024, may not be listed in the commencement program or be allowed to march.

Students can access both the Diploma Application and the Commencement Application by logging into their myChipola account and navigating to the Graduation Application section, located under the Admissions tab. The deadline for both applications is February 28, 2024.

Chipola does not automatically award degrees or certificates. Failure to apply by the deadline may affect your graduation term and delay the posting of your degree. There is no fee for graduation.

Please note that, degrees will be posted and diplomas mailed at the end of the term.
