Smith is Chipola Employee of the Year

At Chipola’s  Back-to-School Seventy Fifth Anniversary Celebration, Dr. Sarah Clemmons awarded Jeremy Smith Chipola College’s Career Employee of the Year award for 2022.

Known to friends, family, faculty and staff as “Smitty”, Jeremy is a familiar face on the Chipola campus serving as a Mail/Shipping and Receiving Clerk in the Physical Plant. He has worked at the college since 2000 and has been awarded Employee of the Month 4 times prior to being awarded Employee of the Year (Dec 2015, Dec 2017, Sept 2018, and Jun 2022).

Smitty was described as deserving the award because “he portrays positivity in every building he enters and leaves everyone with a smile.”  Congratulations, Jeremy “Smitty” Smith, on this well deserved honor!
