Pink Out
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Chipola TRiO Society students support this initiative by placing pink ribbon and bows on Chipola’s campus and coordinated Pink Out Day at Chipola. Breast cancer is one of the most common kinds of cancer in women. About 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will get breast cancer at some point. A mammogram can help find breast cancer early when it’s easier to treat. Together, we can provide help and inspire hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education and support services.
