October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Join the Chipola TRiO Society as we unite in the fight against breast cancer! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to increase awareness, educate individuals about prevention and detection, and support survivors and those currently battling the disease.

Since 1991, the pink ribbon has become a symbol of hope and solidarity in the fight against breast cancer, starting with its distribution to survivors at the Komen New York City Race for the Cure®. This year, TRiO Society members have adorned the center of Chipola College’s campus with pink bows and ribbons to raise awareness for early detection and treatment of breast cancer. Together, we can make a difference. Let’s continue to support the cause, raise awareness, and stand by those affected.
