Nursing students Participates in the 2025 April Donate Life

While studying Community and Public Health, Chipola's Practical Nursing students participated in the 2025 April Donate for Life by painting birdhouses to present to a loved one to solicit their interest in becoming a tissue donor. 

This year's Net Life Health theme is "Let Life Sing", so bird houses were chosen to paint for the event.  Together with the Net Life Health representative, Teresa Jones, and the healthcare team members who actually harvest the tissue within 24 hours of the deceased donor, Chipola students developed a script utilizing Net Life Health facts and figures to include in the dialogue with their loved one.
