Jaylon Smith is Chipola’s Student Spotlight for June

Published:

Meet Jaylon Smith. Jaylon is one of the hardest working, most involved students currently attending Chipola. In addition to being a full time student, Jaylon works as a CNA at Jackson Hospital, a substitute teacher in Jackson County and as a videographer for CCTV.

But that’s just the start! Jaylon is the reigning Mr. Chipola, the Vice President of TRiO, a member of Phi Beta Lambda, the Spanish Culture Society and Black Student Union. While Jaylon is still deciding if he wants to remain at Chipola longer to get his Bachelor’s Degree, his advice to fellow students is to Get Involved on campus and make the most of the college experience! You make us proud, Jaylon, you represent Chipola and yourself so well!
