Chipola's Welding and Construction Programs Build Submarine

Chipola College's Welding and Building Construction Programs have partnered with Eastern Shipbuilding out of Panama City to build another artificial reef!

A design plan was submitted and the students from each of these programs went to work building this SUBMARINE!

This isn't the first artificial reef program that Chipola has been a part of.  Back at the end of 2022, Chipola was one of several technical schools in the area that built an artificial reef.  That reef is currently located 23 miles off the coast of Panama City, FL.  See the screen shot for the location.
