Chipola’s SSS attended FAMU’s Fall 2023 Preview

Students in Chipola Student Support Services attended Florida A&M University's Fall Preview 2023 event. FAMU, the No. 1 HBCU in the U.S., offers a beautiful campus that sits on the highest of seven hills in Tallahassee, Florida. 

FAMU’s Fall Preview provided an opportunity for community college students to learn about the university's outstanding degree programs, meet with high quality faculty, administrators and current students, as well as tour the beautiful campus.

The campus tour began at FAMU Commons. This central outdoor space is often bustling with student activities and events. It's a hub for social gatherings and a great place to soak in the campus atmosphere.

The Set is a vibrant area on campus known for its lively atmosphere. It's home to various student organizations and hosts events and performances. Students were provided free ice cones at the conclusion of the walking tour.

The final destination was Bragg Memorial Stadium, where you can catch exciting football games and other sporting events. Students who attended Fall Preview were given complimentary football game tickets to see FAMU vs. Alabama State University.
