Chipola welcomes students back for the 2024-2025 school year
The campus was a buzz Monday, August 19th as Chipola College welcomed students back for the 2024-25 school year. Due to construction happening on campus, many classes were relocated to different buildings for the Fall semester. Several student organizations stepped up to make sure this wasn’t a distraction or deterrent for new students. Tents were set up in 2 vital locations on campus where members of Chipola’s TRiO Society and Chipola’s Student Government Association greeted students, handed out maps and pointed students in the right direction. Several area businesses- Dunkin Donuts, Winn Dixie, Florida Peanut Producers and Ellianos Coffee- made donations of donuts, bottled water, breakfast bars, and fruit for Chipola students. What could have been a distraction turned into a celebration giving merit to Chipola’s 2024-25 slogan “The Power of One” as everyone worked together for One Chipola.
