Chipola Homecoming Voting is Feb. 1-2
Chipola will celebrate Homecoming the week of February 6 – February 11, 2023. The Indians will host Northwest Florida State College Raiders on Saturday, Feb. 11th and this year’s theme is “Celebrating 75 Years of Chipola College”.
Candidates for Mr. Chipola and Homecoming Queen will be introduced at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1st in the Cafeteria. Voting for the candidates will take place on Feb. 1st and 2nd, in the Student Activities Office in the Cafeteria (K-105). On Feb. 1st students may vote from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and voting will continue on Feb. 2nd until 12 Noon. Students must be currently enrolled to vote.
The Chipola College 2023 Homecoming Queen and Mr. Chipola will be crowned at halftime of the men’s basketball game on February 11th.
Homecoming Court Candidates must:
Be currently enrolled & degree seeking
Be a member of an active club at Chipola College
Have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher
Be in good standing - consistent with the standards and values of this institution
Early admit students meeting the qualifications listed above are also eligible Homecoming Court Candidates (early admit students are taking 12 or more dual enrollment hours on the college campus) and will be classified as freshmen regardless of hours completed.
