Chipola Future Educators Attend Conference in Orlando

Chipola College Future Educators Club members attended the Florida Future Educators of America Conference in Orlando, FL January 31 - February 2, 2025. The state conference provides a wonderful opportunity for chapter members to meet with fellow students, chapter advisors and new, along with experienced teachers. The conference also provides an opportunity to hear from outstanding teachers and others working in the field of education as they present a shared vision of excellence in future classrooms. The workshops provide important information, ideas and inspiration. Attendees participate in several competitions related to teaching. This year’s theme was “Lights, Camera, Teach.” This year the conference boasted it’s largest attendance to date with 56 chapters participating and over 600 attendees.
Allison Morris won 2nd place in the Lesson Plan Competition, while Kylie Harvey won 3rd place in the Education Research Competition. Additionally, these students along with Taylor Melvin, Rhyanna Creamer, Hailey Chambliss and Amya Oxendine participated in the Chapter Display Competition. Amya Oxendine also participated in the Public Speaking competition.

Chipola's FEC also had the privilege of seeing Marianna's, Altha’s and Blountstown’s FEC groups! We are so excited to see your continued, and intentional track into the field of education!
