Chipola Basketball Teams to Host Pensacola March 6

The Chipola men (5-2) moved into first place in the Panhandle Conference with a big 82-60 win over Tallahassee on Feb. 23. The conference standings as of Feb. 24 are: Chipola (5-2), Tallahassee (4-2), Pensacola (3-3), Gulf Coast (2-4) and Northwest (1-4). 

The Indians are third in the FCSAA State Poll and 20th in the NJCAA National Poll. 

The Lady Indians (5-1) are second in the Panhandle Conference following a 96-47 win over Tallahassee on Feb. 23.  Chipola is second in the FCSAA State Poll and fourth in the NJCAA National Poll.

The women’s conference standings as of Feb. 24 are: Northwest (5-0), Chipola (5-1), Gulf Coast (3-4), Pensacola (1-3) and Tallahassee (0-6). 

Both Chipola teams host Pensacola on Saturday, March 6. The women play at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30 p.m. Due to social distancing, only Appreciation Club members will be admitted to home games.
