Course Description:This course is an introduction to current healthcare delivery systems on local, regional, national, and global levels. Concepts of managed care, case management, reimbursement, legal/ethical risk management, quality outcomes, diversity and complexity of population at risk, and conservation of resources are emphasized.

N1: Apply effective interpersonal relationship and leadership skills in the management concepts, decision making, delegation, and provision of high quality nursing care in a variety of settings.
