Course Description:This course is a comparative analytical approach to the study of communication, current problems, issues, health care beliefs, values, and practices of different systems and cultural norms as they affect health care practices. Additionally, the student will focus upon institutional health care practices that conflict with ethnic or cultural communication related to standards and values systems.

Means of accomplishing learning outcomes:
The instructor will provide regular and substantive feedback to students to assist students with completing a scholarly paper, a teaching project, and unit 4 assignments. The instructor assigns quizzes and discussions based on readings from the textbook. The student will complete assigned readings with associated quizzes, submit an initial with cross-posts to the discussion board, and complete all assignments.
