Course Description:The Honors seminar is a forum for students enrolled in the honors program. Books, research and leadership issues will be discussed in a seminar setting.

Means of accomplishing learning outcomes:
Students are expected to attend and participate in all assigned seminars and field trips. There are two speakers scheduled each semester at times different from the Honors Seminar as part of the Chipola Lecture Series that is a joint effort with Phi Theta Kappa. Students will need to plan their schedule so that they can attend these additional lectures.
Students are expected to read and be prepared for all guest speakers.
Students are expected to take an interest in all discussions and participate with questions and views.
Students are expected to give well prepared, rehearsed presentations that are prepared with the assistance of the instructor of the honors contract.
Students are expected to submit an honors contract that is signed by the student and honors instructor.
Students are expected to comply with the honors contract.
