Course Description:This course prepares students for entry into the advanced manufacturing industry. Content emphasizes beginning skills key to the success of working in the manufacturing industry. Students gain an understanding of technology and the concept of design for manufacturing, study workplace safety and workplace organization, workplace communication skills, and basic machine operation.
