Means of accomplishing learning outcomes:
Lecture is primary method of instruction. Students are expected to be attentive and are encouraged to ask questions. Lectures will come primarily from the textbook in formats that may include PowerPoint presentations, white board illustrations, videos, and web-based technologies. Homework assignments are also a requirement. Projects, that vary in content from semester to semester, are also utilized to expand student knowledge and understanding of the course material.
Faculty will avail themselves for office appointments for students to explore their progress in the course, as needed.
Faculty will advise students to use the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE Lab) for academic help when needed.
