Course Description:A Basic Law Enforcement Academy course that deals with firearms familiarization, ammunition characteristics, fundamentals of marksmanship, drawing and holstering a handgun, the use of cover, weapon malfunctions, live fire exercises, weapons cleaning, qualifications, and survival shooting.
