Course Description:
This course is a continuation of experimental techniques in chemistry designed to demonstrate basic chemical principles. Three hours laboratory per week.

Means of accomplishing learning outcomes:

Lecture/Teacher facilitated: The teacher will be leading class discussions on the material contained in the text during each class period using visual aids including PowerPoint presentations, which students have access to via Canvas.

Student-centered: The students will be responsible for solving homework problems and forming group study sessions outside of class.

ACE Lab tutors: Student tutors are available in the lab to provide individualized help. Hours can be found posted each semester on the lab door and/or via the web site.

Course Description:
A continuation of PHY 1053. Topics covered are static electricity, magnetism, direct current circuits, alternating current circuits, sound, light, and nuclear physics, with laboratory applications of these topics. Three hours lecture and two hours laboratory per week.

MAC 1114 (Plane Trigonometry) or consent of department and PHY 1053C (General Physics I).
