Applying for financial aid and scholarships is not meant to be confusing; however, because federal, state and college policies demand that you do a lot of paper work, you may feel trapped by "the system". Don’t let it get you down - go after your fair share of the funds. It is imperative that students apply for financial aid as soon as possible after October 1st for the following academic year. Applicants should apply on line at www.fafsa.gov. The priority deadline for submitting applications is May 1.
Submitting the necessary applications, records and forms is your responsibility; however, we are available to assist you and will do our best to see that you complete the process as accurately and timely as possible.
The Office of Financial Aid will not award an eligible student who has completed the application process until he/she has been cleared through the Admissions Office. This includes all Official transcripts, high school and college, have been received and evaluated.
