Consider this hypothetical situation:
Edward has posted the mid-term and final examination grades earned by the students this semester in his Biology class at Acme Community College. In the posting of mid-term grades, each grade was associated with a student's initials. The list of final examination grades associated each student's grade with the last four digits of that student's social security number. Edward posted the lists on both his office door and the website he maintains for his classes at Acme.
Does the law allow Edward to post the grades in such a manner?
