301 Clock Hours

The Firefighter II Training Program comprises 301 clock hours and is designed to prepare students for certification and employment as firefighters, in compliance with Florida Statutes. According to these statutes, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Be at least 18 years old.
2. Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
3. Have no criminal record.
4. Pass a physical examination.
5. Pass the State Certification Exam.

To be eligible for the State Certification Exam, students must complete all requirements established by Chipola College and the Bureau of Fire Standards and Training. Additionally, students must have completed the Firefighter I certification prior to entering this program.

Firefighter I is 191 hours. Price: $624.05.

Firefighter II is 301 hours. Price: $891.55
