Our Firefighter I or Volunteer Firefighter Training Program includes NFPA Firefighter I and the Florida specific requirements. It is the basic certification level of training and competency for all individuals performing firefighting duties in the hot zone. The graduate must also be able to function safely and effectively as a member of a fire fighting team. Once the student takes a 40 hour First Responder course or is an EMT/B or EMT/P the student will have the knowledge and skills that are needed to become a State Certified Firefighter I.

Firefighter I is a total of 191 hours. Price: $624.05

Firefighter II is 301 hours. Price: $891.55

Pre-requisite for both courses is First Responder (EMT or higher certification).  A daytime First Responder class will meet prior to the course  Cost is $130.
