Chipola College offers a state-of-the-art facility with outstanding instructors to help you reach the goal of becoming a Certified Correctional Officer. The program meets meeting Mon-Friday, 6 am -3:30 pm for 2 ½ months. An initial investment of $1600 prepares you for a $46,760 a year career!

Courses of study consist of 9 general classes and 3 high liability classes that make up the 420 clock hours of study. The general classes take place in the classroom and teach basic principles needed to become a professional in the field of corrections. The high liability classes are made up of defensive tactics, first aid and firearms and take place on both the matt and range.
