Our Building Construction Technology certificate program at Chipola College is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the construction industry.

  • Program duration: Complete our 1,050 clock hour program in approximately one year.
  • Class Schedule: Convenient classes from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, allowing you to balance your education with other commitments.
  • Financial Aid: Assistance is available for those who qualify, with special consideration for veterans.
  • Program Requirement: Achieve a minimum score on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) unless exempt per state statute 6A-10.040

This comprehensive clock-hour certificate program prepares students for employment and specialized training in the construction industry. It focuses on project-based learning with the goal of equipping students to build a house from the ground up. The Workforce Recovery Training Grant (WRTP) will be available for tuition, fees, and books through the summer 2025 semester.
