Chipola College is proud to offer a variety of degrees and certificates for students. The most popular degree is the Associate of Arts degree, which allows students to transfer to a university in order to pursue a baccalaureate degree. For those students who want to stay in the Chipola district to attain a baccalaureate degree, Chipola offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Education, and Nursing. The business department offers a B.S. with either accounting or management concentrations. Teacher education offers several degrees: secondary or middle grades math; secondary biology; middle grades science; English 6-12; exceptional student education; and elementary education. Students may also attain the reading and TSOL endorsements. The Health Sciences department offers a B.S. in nursing. Associate in Science degrees, which are nontransferable, are also granted by Chipola College in a variety of areas from criminal justice to engineering technology to computers. The Workforce Department provides the opportunity for students to earn certificates in areas such as cosmetology, automotive technology, advanced manufacturing, welding, and building construction. Public Service programs are law enforcement, corrections, fire fighting, paramedic, and EMT.
