In accordance with Florida Statute 1011.803, Chipola College offers a Money-Back Guarantee.  The Money-Back Guarantee serves as a tuition refund initiative,offering support to students who successfully complete any of the qualifying workforce education programs but find themselves unable to secure employment six months after successfully completing their program in Basic Welding, Automotive I or Advanced Manufacturing. Eligibility for a tuition refund is contingent upon students meeting all program requirements.

Eligibility Requirements

• The graduate will have a 90% attendance rate in the program of study. 

• The graduate will have a minimum grade of 90%, indicating quality student performance in the program of study.

•  The graduate will provide documentation of job search.  The graduate must provide a completed resume, copies of each job application, and documentation of a minimum of three job interviews. 

      

Procedure

1.After six months of program completion in basic welding, Automotive I, or advanced manufacturing, the graduate who has not found employment in the appropriate field of

2.study makes application to the Office of Instructional Affairs for a tuition refund.  Applications can be acquired in the Office of Instructional Affairs.

Florida Statute 1011.803 states:  “The Money-back Guarantee is established to help individuals achieve self-sufficiency by requiring each school district and Florida College System institution to

refund the cost of tuition to students who are not able to find a job in the field in which the student was trained within 6 months of successful completion of select workforce education programs that prepare students for in-demand, middle-level to high level wage occupations.
