Chipola College held their annual Athletic Banquet to honor both the Men's and Women's Basketball Team. The Indians received medals, plaques, and letters to commemorate their record-breaking performance. Chipola Men's Basketball Team finished the season 33-3 with a 10-2 record in Panhandle Conference play in route to their 4th consecutive Panhandle Conference Championship and their third FCCAA Region VIII Championship in four years. The Indians then traveled to Hutchinson, Kansas for the NJCAA Tournament. Chipola fought their way to the finals before being defeated by Midland College. Nevertheless, the Indians boosted the best record in the country against ranked opponents (14-3).
