Biography & Career Highlights: Ryan Chaffee.....graduated from Niceville High School in Niceville, Florida.....At Chipola, during his freshman season, 8-2, with a 3.30 ERA, 92 strikeouts in 76.1 innings on the mound.....batting .253 with 4 HR's and 19 RBI's.....named the JUCO World Series Pitcher of the Tournament......pitched a four-hitter in the National Championship Game versus New Mexico.....At Niceville, Ryan was named the Daily News Player of the Year, Varsity Offensive and Defensive Award in 2005 and 2006, Varsity Pitching Award during the 2006 season, and team MVP.....also named to the 2nd team All-State Team in 2005 and 2006....high school coach was David Garner.....academic major is engineering
