Walters State uses 5-run third inning to cruise past Chipola

Walters State scored 5 runs in the third inning to blow open their game versus Chipola, Friday in the Rahal-Miller JUCO National Classic.  Walters State scored their first on a a fielding error in the first inning.  The big blow come in the third on a grand slam home-run by Adam Mulligan.  Chipola starter Ryan Chaffee took his second loss of the season, pitching three innings, giving up five hits and striking out six. 

The Indians were led at the plate by Chris Berroa (2-4, 2 RBI's, 2B) and Daniel Jones (2-3, 1 RBI).  Next game for the Indians will be Saturday, Feb. 9th versus Walters State and College of Southern Nevada in the Rahal-Miller JUCO National Classic.
