St. Petersburg sneaks past Chipola, 3-2

Justin Dalles had a 2-out double to push St. Petersburg past Chipola, 3-2, Sunday afternoon in the final game of the Rahal-Miller JUCO National Classic. Chipola (7-4-1) scored in the first inning a sacifice fly by Marc Bourgeois which plated Chris Berroa. The Indians also added a single run on a Ryan Chaffee solo home run. The Indians were lead at the plate by (Chaffee 1-2, HR, Daniel Jones 1-2)
Chipola reliever Cameron Gray took the loss for the Indians, his first of the season. Chipola starting pitcher Drew Parker pitched five innings, giving up two runs and striking out three. The Indians next game will be on the road, Wednesday, February 13 versus Lake City at 1:30 CST.
