Chipola College, Center for Public Service is pleased to provide basic and advanced training for firefighting, law enforcement and corrections. Each year the Center trains hundreds of new and in-service public service professionals in state-of-the-art facilities. The Center for Public Service houses the Chipola Fire Academy and the Criminal Justice Training Center. The Chipola Fire Academy is certified by the Florida Fire College, and is widely accepted as one of the best training academies in the state.  The Criminal Justice Training Center is certified by the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to provide basic and advanced training for law enforcement and corrections officers, and is one of the oldest and most respected training centers in the state. Thousands of law enforcement, corrections officers and firefighters have begun their careers at Chipola College.
