Chipola Junior College was founded in 1947 and operated for one year as a private educational institution. Chipola Junior College entered a stage when it officially became Chipola college on August 18, 2003.
To commemorate Homecoming 2008, a weeklong festival of events is planned throughout Chipola’s campus. Whether you’re a student, an alum, a proud parent, or a member of the community, you will find something planned with you in mind. Lots of exciting events are scheduled from February 18-23, so join in on the fun!

The 2008 Homecoming theme is “On Top of Our Game.” This theme pays homage not only to Chipola’s national titles in basketball, baseball, and softball, but to demonstrated excellence in other areas of campus life as well.
