WELCOME

Welcome to Chipola College Distance Learning. We hope through our department, you can reach your academic goals at Chipola College or other schools of higher learning.  We are a small school and our distance learning reflects that in our instructors who will work to help you complete your assignments and hold high the reputation of students knowing teachers, and teachers knowing students.

What is Distance Learning?

Our definition of Distance Learning  is instruction that is represented when the teacher and student are separated by time and/or space.  Most of all distance learning instructional delivery does not constrain the student to be physically present in the same location as the instructor. The use of audio, video, or computer technology is used to deliver the instruction.

Our Distance Learning Vision

The purpose of Chipola College Distance Learning is to provide accessible, affordable, quality educational opportunities for area citizens through the use of technology. The college is committed to delivering instruction to students who are separated from their teacher by time and space, and providing course offerings of equal quality to students who cannot regularly attend campus classes and complete coursework by traditional methods.
